Rosemary leads the Vector Biology Methods group. Her work focuses on identifying weaknesses in the methods used to develop and evaluate insecticides and vector control tools, and on addressing them through consensus protocols, experimental validation and engagement with stakeholders. She led the Methods Validation workstream of Innovation to Impact (I2I) from 2021 to 2025. She also works with industry partners to screen new insecticides, formulations and application technologies designed to overcome resistance. The group’s current focus is developing and standardising methods to monitor resistance to volatile insecticides used in spatial emanators. Rosemary holds a DPhil in Zoology from the University of Oxford.
